The AI for Impact Challenge (AIIC) offers one of the most meaningful ways to show initiative, community leadership, and AI application skills — and all awards are determined before most college regular decision deadlines. Whether or not you place in the top tiers, just entering builds your résumé with verifiable technical and social impact experience.

The three most innovative, actionable, and well-executed solutions will:

  • 🌐 Collaborate with a university research lab or professor to bring their solution to life
  • 🧪 Publish a research paper with academic and professional support
  • 📄 Receive assistance to patent their solution
  • 🚀 Deploy their idea with real-world users or communities

🥈 Silver Award

The next 10 highest-scoring teams receive:

  • ✨ Automatic entry into the Fellows Circle (see Bronze)
  • 💳 Gain assistance to improve your solution into a full academic paper and submit work to confrences.
  • 📢 Featured on our social media and blog

🥉 Bronze Award

The top 100 teams are inducted into our prestigious Fellows Circle:
